Getting Started

How RELMX works, start to finish.

A plain walkthrough for photographers and media companies — set up your business, shoot a property, get it edited, deliver it, and get paid.

  1. Set Up Business
  2. Create Project
  3. Upload
  4. Editing
  5. Review / Enhance
  6. Deliver
  7. Get Paid

1. Getting started

Create your account, confirm your email, and tell RELMX you're a Photographer / Media Company so your workspace is set up for shooting and delivering listings.

  • Sign up with your email and password, then confirm the message we send you.
  • On the welcome screen choose Photographer / Media Company. Realtors and editors pick their own option here instead.
  • You land on your dashboard: current projects, quick actions, and the left menu for everything else.
  • An administrator can change your account type later if you picked the wrong one.

2. Set up My Business

My Business is your public face: the details your clients see on invoices, booking and delivery.

  • Add your business name, contact details and service area.
  • Upload your logo and set your branding so client-facing pages match your business.
  • Build your services and packages with your own prices — these are what your clients pay you.
  • Turn on your public booking page if you want clients to request shoots themselves.
  • Review your client-facing settings before you send anything out.

3. Connect your tools

Two connections do most of the work: payments and your calendar.

  • Connect payments so your clients can pay you directly and invoices settle automatically.
  • Connect Google Calendar to have your RELMX shoots appear on your own calendar.
  • Everything else lives under Integrations, and you can connect or disconnect at any time.

4. Create your first project

A project is one property. Everything for that address lives inside it.

  • Start a new order and enter the property address.
  • Pick what you need edited: HDR photos at $0.99 per image, plus video or other services when you need them.
  • Upload your RAW brackets by dragging them in. Large uploads keep going in the background and pick up where they left off if your connection drops.
  • Confirm the photo count, then check out. Payment is collected when you submit the project for editing.

5. While it's being edited

You can watch the project move without chasing anyone.

  • The project page shows the current status from submitted through to delivered.
  • A RELMX editor is assigned to the work; photo orders typically come back within 24 hours and video within 48.
  • If something isn't right, request a revision from the project and the editor picks it back up.
  • Finished files appear in the project as soon as they're ready.

6. Working with finished media

Once finals land, the project becomes the home for everything about that property.

  • Browse and download your finals straight from the project.
  • Use Alter to make AI changes to a finished photo — $0.50 per alteration in credits.
  • Use markup and callouts to add arrows, notes and highlights on a photo.
  • Add extra photos, videos, floor plans, a 3D tour link and other property files to the same project.

7. Deliver to your client

You choose exactly what goes out, and whether money is owed first.

  • Select which photos and assets are included in the delivery.
  • Set the amount your client owes, or set it to $0 if they've already paid or there's nothing to collect.
  • Send to a client with a RELMX account, or to any email address as a guest delivery.
  • Guest delivery links stay valid for 45 days.
  • If a balance is owed, your client can see previews but downloads stay locked until they pay.
  • Once unlocked, they get full-resolution files and MLS-sized versions.

8. After delivery

Deliveries stay live, so you rarely need to start over.

  • When a client pays, downloads unlock on their existing link — no new link needed.
  • Add more photos or assets later and they appear on the same delivery page automatically.
  • Newly released videos are the exception: resend the delivery so they're included.
  • Download All builds a prepared ZIP in the background. It shows "preparing" briefly, then downloads, and rebuilds itself when the files change.
  • Resending refreshes the delivery and sends a fresh link; the previous link stops working.

9. Running your business in RELMX

The left menu holds the day-to-day tools.

  • Calendar for shoots, booking requests and availability.
  • Clients and connections for the people and companies you work with.
  • Properties for every address you've shot.
  • Billing and history for invoices, payments and past projects.
  • Credits for Alter and other credit-based work.
  • Account settings for your login, email, password and appearance.

10. Common questions

The handful of things people ask most.

  • My upload stopped — reopen the project; uploads resume from where they stopped rather than starting over.
  • Download All says preparing — the ZIP is still being built. Give it a moment and it will download.
  • My client can see photos but can't download — there's still a balance owed. Once it's paid, downloads unlock.
  • My client didn't get the email — ask them to check spam, then resend the delivery.
  • They paid but it still looks locked — refresh the delivery page; payment confirmation can land a few seconds after checkout.
  • Still stuck — use the Get in touch form on Support, or live chat from inside your dashboard.
